Q&A With Ron

Best part of your day

Calls from my adult children, followed by calls from the grandkids. They bring me a lot of joy and they are why I still work so hard, so we can go and do things with them. I also love when I have time to work out. It's a good way to take your mind off of work and release stress.

A surprising fact

I love all things history. I listen to podcasts about it and I read books about it. The way I figure it is, if you don't know how you got here, how can you find the solution? We can all learn what works and what doesn't by studying what those before us have tried — we don't have to learn it all ourselves; it's easier to ask others. That's what history is to me. And in 2008 I got 3 votes for President of the United States — my wife and 2 kids wrote my name in because they didn't like the other people running.

Favorite part of the job

Answering agent questions, and talking with clients. I enjoy helping and solving problems. Oh, and I just love confirming wiring instructions — it means my agent is getting paid.
