Craig Chagnon

Welcome. I have been working in the real estate industry for over 20 years. My first job was a Realtor in Nevada with Prudential Nevada Realty. I successfully represented sellers and buyers in real estate transactions for five years. In 2005 I was hired as a Division Manager with a nationally known 1031 exchange "Qualified Intermediary". In that role I was responsible for business development and consulting to taxpayers and advisors who were involved in 1031 real estate exchanges; tax deferred exchanges of investment real estate. I also served as a certified instructor for real estate education in Nevada, Utah and Idaho. I taught hundreds of classes to real estate licensees, escrow officers, CPAs and attorneys. I have in depth knowledge of 1031 exchanges and investment strategies.

I am currently licensed as a real estate salesperson in Utah. My area of expertise includes investment properties, 1031 exchanges, residential and multifamily. I also have some commercial sales experience.

I have extensive knowledge of markets in Utah, Nevada, California and Idaho, having lived, worked and played in these areas for the last 20 years. In particular, I understand the demographics and geographics of the Great Basin desert, the Sierra Nevada, and the Wasatch Front. My background and dealings in these areas allow me to provide sound advice and connections to clients seeking property in these areas. My broad experience allows me to assist investors and homeowners.
