Dorothy Jackson

Dorothy is a military-minded real estate agent; born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City. Jackson came to California in 1988 as a Marine; after receiving an honorable discharge in 1995 she decided to remain in California permanently.
Shortly after separating from the military Dorothy's real estate experience would begin in residential property management. Learning to understand and serve the needs of both military and civilian families residing in apartment homes in the Oceanside area as an Assistant Resident Manager.
In 1998 while purchasing her first home, Dorothy met a New Home Sales Manager who was impressed with her can do attitude, attention to detail, and charisma, and offered her role as an Hostess in a new home community in Hemet, CA . Dorothy earned her real estate license in 1999. She continued with that new home builder for 5 years.
Working near military installations in San Diego and Riverside Counties during her 20+ year real estate career has allowed Dorothy to continue to, "be in the trenches", and assist military service members and their families navigate the home buying and selling process.
Providing knowledge and information to assist clients with making an informed decision regarding a residential real property purchase or sale is what fuels her passion.
Dorothy is the proud mom of 3 wonderful children and resides in Carlsbad. She enjoys music, reading, & good times with close family and friends.
