About Steven
Steven Larson is a seasoned real estate professional serving clients along the Wasatch Front in Utah and throughout Honolulu, Hawaii. First licensed in Utah in 2001 and later in Hawaii in 2008, Steven brings more than two decades of experience navigating diverse markets, economic cycles, and investment landscapes. He is currently the Principal Broker for Equity Hawaii Real Estate and an Associate Broker with Equity Real Estate Premier Elite in Utah. In addition to brokerage work, Steven owns Koko Resorts, a well-established short-term property management company based in Waikiki.
Specializing in investment properties, rental real estate, and long-term financial growth strategies, Steven is passionate about helping buyers use real estate as a vehicle for financial freedom. He loves working with the full spectrum of investors—from first-time home buyers who want to live in their first investment property to seasoned professionals planning their next acquisition. His background as a former mortgage company owner, real estate brokerage owner, and single-family home developer gives him a rare, 360-degree understanding of the industry, allowing him to guide clients through decisions with clarity, confidence, and long-term vision.
Beyond real estate, Steven is a Certified No More Mr. Nice Guy Coach and a Certified ISEP Coach, bringing deep experience in personal development, communication, and high-level leadership coaching. Before launching his Hawaii property management career in 2008, he served as a Spanish Language Interrogator in the Utah National Guard from 1993–1999. Steven holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA from Brigham Young University. His unique blend of real estate expertise, investment insight, and personal coaching makes him an exceptional advocate for clients seeking not just a property, but a pathway to a stronger financial future.
