Michael Cox

My name is Mike Cox, and I’ve been in the mortgage and real estate industry since 2005. For nearly two decades I’ve helped clients navigate the financial side of homeownership, and more recently I expanded into real estate sales as a licensed agent with Equity Real Estate Solid. By combining my mortgage background with real estate expertise, I give my clients a complete perspective and the confidence to make the best decisions for their future.

Family is the foundation of my life. Most importantly, I am a husband to an amazing woman and I’m the proud father of three wonderful daughters, who keep me grounded and constantly remind me of what really matters. I’m also a dog dad to Boston, who adds his own energy and personality to our family.

While real estate and mortgages have been my main career, I also spent about a decade teaching motorcycle safety at Salt Lake Community College—a part-time role I enjoyed alongside my real estate work. Sharing my passion for riding while helping others stay safe was a rewarding experience that combined both fun and purpose.

Competition and adventure are part of who I am. I played volleyball for two years in college and today I coach high school volleyball at Copper Hills, where I love mentoring athletes and watching them grow on and off the court. I’ve also been part of competitive softball teams, bowling leagues, and ski racing circuits. My love for challenges extends to the track, where I’ve raced my sportbike at Miller Motorsports Park, and to the outdoors, where I enjoy camping, waterskiing, and 4-wheeling. On the creative side, I enjoy building and customizing cars and working on an offroad race team with my father... a hands-on passion that blends challenge with craftsmanship.

Above all the activities that keep me busy, at the heart of it all is people. Helping people achieve their goals and forming meaningful relationships that last is what drives everything I do. Whether it’s with family, friends, athletes, or clients, it’s those connections that matter most and that continue to inspire me every day.
